Fluoropolymer film (FEP) is chemically inert and possesses super strength and toughness. It has a stronger ability to resist gas permeation than any other films. It can be used in applications such as collecting corrosive gases and ensure sample integrity.

Theory and research indicated that the property of a fluoropolymer is dependent on fluorine atom and its structure of the polymer. The more percentage of fluorine atom in the polymer, the more stability and more strength it has. Polyfluoroethylene is a polymer of fluoroethylene(CH₂=CHF) which has the lowest percentage of fluorine atom in fluoropolymers, it's been mainly used in construction materials. The fluoropolymer used in our sampling bag products are called FEP. FEP is a fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene(CF₂=CF₂) and hexafluoropropylene ( CF₃CF=CF₂), which has excellent chemical and physical properties.
